Paint the board and glue down sand.

Glue on peat grass cardboard log (We made it by rolling up and gluing a cardboard piece tightly. Then painting the top brown and the sides white. I painted black stripes on the side to make it look like an aspen tree.) 

We glued small pebbles down on the path and then made a little bridge with little twigs we found.

We glued a butterfly on the log to make it look for authentic.

We made little mushrooms out of self drying clay.

We made the little fairies with wire, a small bead, a cloth flower, and embroidery thread.

The little door on the little stump was molded out of self drying clay.

We made the little fishing poles out of twigs and fishing line.

We glued the fairies the scene, but that definitely isn't necessary.
